Rauw Alejandro

Raul Alejandro Ruiz Ocasio-Ruiz born on January 10, 1993, is a Puerto Rican singer/songwriter. He is referred to as "the King of Contemporary Reggaeton"[2][3] and belongs to "the new generation of Puerto Rican urban artists. The album he released his debut, Afrodisiaco (studio album) was released in the month of November in 2020. Vice Versa was his second studio album. The album's first single, "Todo de Ti", was released in June 2021. Two Latin Grammy Awards have been awarded to him out of 12 nominations. Raul Alejandro Olasio was born in San Juan (Puerto Rico) on January 10, 1993. His family was born in Carolina and Canovanas. His father Raul Ocasio Ruiz was a musician and his mother Maria Nelly Ruiz was his back-up vocalist. They introduced him to the music of Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley. [6] For many years, Alejandro and his father lived in the mainland United States, mainly Miami and New York City, where he was influenced by the R&B and dancehall genres. Alejandro and Anuel who was a friend of a fellow Puerto Rican rapper, were close friends from childhood. When he graduated from high school, he was accepted in the University of Puerto Rico. He was a soccer player between six and twenty. He eventually resigned after stating that he couldn't be as effective as he had hoped. He relocated to Orlando, Florida to attempt to get scouted to play in the Premier Development League (PDL) however, he was not successful. Rauw Alejandro is famous for his Latin R&B, Latin Reggaeton and rhythmic pop. Billboard said that it's contributed to "set him apart from the growing group of reggaetoneros who are influenced by pop". Presley and Jackson were influential early on.
